SODIC continues to develop SODIC East, a 655-acre residential project, as parts of the development enter the operational stage and become an active community. So far, 1,475 residential units have been delivered across eight residential districts.
Construction and development work is also progressing across several residential, commercial, and service components, with different areas of the project moving through various stages of completion according to their respective construction and delivery schedules.
What Are the Construction Completion Rates Across SODIC East?
Development work has been fully completed in five districts: Ivy, Jade, Gardenia, Azailya, and Camellia, while the completion rate in Orchid has reached approximately 99%.
Development work is also progressing in Oak, where 65% of the units currently ready for delivery have been completed. SODIC is targeting the completion of these units during the fourth quarter of 2026.
Meanwhile, construction progress for the other units currently under development in Oak has reached 35%, with delivery scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2027.
What Is the Status of Amberwood?
Development work is currently underway in Amberwood, where the completion rate has reached 15%. The units are scheduled for delivery during the fourth quarter of 2027.
Accordingly, SODIC East currently includes districts where development has been completed and units have entered the operational stage, alongside other areas that remain under construction based on their respective development and delivery schedules.
First Phase of SODIC Sports Club Now Operational
On the sports and community services front, the first phase of the SODIC Sports Club, built on a 40-acre site, has been completed and has begun welcoming its members.
The project’s master plan also includes green spaces, open areas, and a range of services, in addition to an international school planned as part of the development.
70% Completion Rate for the First Phase of the Commercial Area
Meanwhile, the first phase of the project’s commercial area has reached a 70% completion rate, progressing alongside construction work across the residential districts.
The commercial area is planned to provide a range of services and retail activities within the development, alongside the continued delivery of residential units and the operation of completed facilities.
The Lakes: Apartments Ranging from One to Four Bedrooms
As part of its strategy to offer residential products with different layouts and sizes, SODIC has launched The Lakes, a residential phase featuring apartments ranging from one to four bedrooms.
The phase offers units with finishes under the Flexi Finish Plus system, along with payment plans extending for up to 10 years with no down payment, according to the company.
With 1,475 units delivered, several residential districts completed, and the first phase of the sports club now operational, while construction continues across the remaining residential, commercial, and service components, SODIC East is progressing through parallel stages of delivery, operation, and development toward completion of its master plan.
