Egyptian Company for Cosmetics (ECC), a leading Egyptian manufacturer of cosmetics and nutritional supplements, showcased its capabilities in innovation, manufacturing, and product development during the 11th edition of the International Cosmetic Congress & Exhibition 2026 (ICCE 2026). The event brought together leading experts and specialists from Egypt and around the world across aesthetic medicine, cosmetic surgery, and dermatology, alongside companies and institutions operating across the cosmetics, dermatology, and medical technology sectors.

ECC is advancing a business transformation strategy through 2028, supported by an EGP 2 billion investment plan to evolve the company into an integrated industrial platform spanning R&D, manufacturing, packaging, product registration, and exports. The strategy will strengthen ECC’s capabilities across the product lifecycle and support the development of products for both local and international markets. As part of the plan, EGP 500 million will be allocated to expand nutritional supplements manufacturing capabilities, representing 25% of the total investment. ECC also aims to increase exports to approximately 20% of total sales by 2028, focusing on Gulf and African markets, while building local partnerships that support international expansion and take Egyptian manufacturing expertise into new markets.

As the cosmetics industry evolves through advances in scientific research, technology, and AI, ECC is strengthening its focus on innovation and product development. At ICCE 2026, the company introduced the ECC Innovation Lab, offering visitors an interactive look at technologies across skin and hair analysis, formulation development, and analytical testing. The activation also provided a preview of the ECC Innovation Campus, a strategic initiative designed to connect industry, academia, entrepreneurs, and international experts to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation across the beauty and personal care sectors.

During the conference, Dr. Mohammed Salah, Chief Executive Officer & Founder of the Egyptian Company for Cosmetics (ECC), participated in a panel discussion alongside a group of industry experts, addressing the transformation taking place across the beauty industry, changing consumer needs, and the opportunities these developments are creating for companies to advance their products and businesses.

Dr. Mohammed Salah, Chief Executive Officer & Founder of the Egyptian Company for Cosmetics (ECC), said: “Technology and innovation are increasingly shaping the beauty industry, from the way products are developed to how companies understand and respond to changing consumer needs. At ECC, we see technology as most valuable when it is combined with scientific knowledge and specialized expertise to create a stronger foundation for innovation and product development. Through initiatives such as the ECC Innovation Campus, we are working to create an environment that encourages collaboration, experimentation, and knowledge exchange. Our continued investment in these capabilities reflects our ambition to build a more integrated and agile platform that can respond to market changes and contribute to the future development of the beauty and personal care industry in Egypt and the region.”

ECC’s participation in ICCE 2026 reflects its continued engagement with developments shaping the cosmetics, beauty, and personal care sectors, providing a platform to exchange knowledge and expertise with industry specialists while showcasing modern product development through the ECC Innovation Lab. Building on Egypt’s strategic location, established manufacturing base, scientific and technical expertise, and trade agreements, ECC is focused on expanding its capabilities, strengthening its regional presence, and supporting the growth of Egyptian-made cosmetics and personal care products in international markets.
