Orange Middle East and Africa (OMEA), a leading digital services provider in the region, has released its 2025 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report, titled “Growing Together,” showcasing how its digital infrastructure, financial and digital services, energy solutions, Orange Digital Centers, and employee engagement initiatives are driving sustainable and inclusive development across Africa and the Middle East.
Operating in 18 countries and serving more than 179 million customers with nearly 19,000 employees, Orange structured the report around three strategic pillars: resilient infrastructure, digital inclusion, and responsible governance, supported by measurable impact indicators and real-life success stories.
The report outlines the company’s continued investments in expanding network coverage, strengthening infrastructure resilience through artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, developing international connectivity, and accelerating the energy transition by increasing the use of solar power, renewable energy, and circular economy practices.
It also highlights Orange’s flagship digital ecosystem, including the Max it super app, Orange Money, Orange Bank Africa, Orange Energies, and the affordable Sanza smartphones, all designed to improve access to digital, financial, and energy services.
Orange Digital Centers, now operating in 16 countries, have supported 1.4 million beneficiaries to date. The company aims to increase the total number of young people trained through these centers to 3 million by 2030, offering training, international certifications, startup incubation, acceleration, and access to funding.
The report also underscores Orange’s commitment to ethical governance, transparency, diversity, inclusion, and employee development through initiatives such as Orange Engage for Change, which mobilizes employees to deliver high-impact social and environmental projects across the region.
Commenting on the report, Yasser Shaker, CEO of Orange Middle East and Africa, said: “With ‘Growing Together’, we demonstrate that our performance is measured not only by the quality of our networks but also by the tangible impact we create for communities. By investing in resilient infrastructure, developing inclusive services, and nurturing talent, we are laying the foundations for sustainable growth across Africa and the Middle East.”
Asma Ennaifer, Executive Director of CSR, Orange Digital Center and Communications at Orange Middle East and Africa, added that technology should ultimately serve people by creating opportunities for learning, entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, and access to energy, helping build a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable future.
