X-GEN, an Egyptian technology company specializing in robotics, drones, intelligent systems, and autonomous solutions, is preparing to introduce its integrated technology ecosystem at Cairo ICT 2026, taking place from November 7 to 10.
Combining Egyptian engineering expertise with advanced global technologies through partnerships and collaboration with leading international companies specializing in these fields, X-GEN aims to deliver practical solutions for Egypt’s vital industries while advancing technology localization and building local industrial capabilities.
The company’s participation comes at a time when artificial intelligence, robotics, and drone technologies are evolving at an unprecedented pace. The question is no longer how far technology can advance, but how far it can transform our reality. Intelligent systems are no longer concepts of the future; they are becoming powerful tools capable of reshaping how organizations operate, execute tasks, and manage resources.
X-GEN’s approach is built on using technology to solve real problems rather than simply supplying advanced equipment, combining global innovations with local expertise to develop solutions tailored to the needs of the Egyptian market.
Its areas of focus include precision agriculture, facility management, inspection and surveillance, security, infrastructure assessment, logistics, emergency response, and advanced robotics applications.
Through this ecosystem, X-GEN aims to deliver end-to-end solutions, from understanding operational challenges and selecting the right technologies to integrating, deploying, and operating them, ultimately delivering measurable results.
Commenting on the company’s vision, Amir Wahid, Co-Founder & CEO of X-GEN, said:
“Technology doesn’t transform industries simply because it exists. It transforms industries when we know how to turn its potential into reality.
At X-GEN, we don’t simply supply equipment or technology. We deliver fully integrated, tailor-made solutions designed around real needs, driven by a vision to create meaningful change and lasting impact.
Our ambition goes beyond bringing the world’s most advanced technologies to Egypt. We want to build an ecosystem capable of deploying, integrating and developing these technologies to create real value for the economy, industry and society.
We want to see robotics, drones and intelligent systems operating across our farms, factories, facilities and infrastructure, making operations more efficient, safer and more productive.
The future is not something we wait for. It’s something we actively work to help build.
Global Partnerships and Building Egyptian Capabilities
X-GEN is developing a technology ecosystem supported by collaboration with international manufacturers and technology companies specializing in drones, robotics, and intelligent systems, bringing advanced global solutions to Egypt and adapting them to the needs of different industries.
Beyond providing technology, X-GEN is focused on developing local capabilities in operations, engineering integration, maintenance, training, and research and development.
The company has already begun investing in local manufacturing and assembly, with the objective of advancing technology localization and strengthening Egypt’s industrial capabilities.
X-GEN aims to contribute to shaping the future and positioning Egypt at the forefront of this technological transformation, not only by adopting global innovations but by actively participating in their development, localization, and real-world application across industries.
