The fourth edition of the LEAP 2025 tech conference kicked off in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is the largest global tech platform that brings together top experts and innovators in the technology field. The event runs from 9th to 12th of November, with participation from 18 countries, over 1,000 speakers and international tech experts, 1,800 exhibitors, and nearly 680 startups.
The conference announced the largest package of tech launches and investments in the region, worth $14.9 billion, further cementing Saudi Arabia’s position as a regional hub for artificial intelligence, emerging and deep technologies, and cloud computing investments.
The fourth edition of the conference focuses on emerging technologies and future trends such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, virtual reality, and blockchain.
Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Abdullah Alswaha, stated that the digital economy in the region grew by 73% to reach $260 billion, with Saudi Arabia accounting for 15% of this economy.
The total value of investments and companies in the first three editions of the LEAP conference reached $29.3 billion, with investments from the previous edition alone valued at $13.4 billion.
