Vodafone Egypt Appoints Ayman El-Saadany and Rasha Hamdy to Executive Leadership Roles

Vodafone Egypt has announced two key executive appointments aimed at strengthening its leadership structure and driving strategic transformation. Ayman El-Saadany has been named Chief External Affairs Officer, while Rasha Hamdy steps into the role of Chief Legal Officer, effective October 1.

Both executives will join Vodafone Egypt’s Executive Committee and report directly to Mohamed Abdallah, CEO and Managing Director of Vodafone Egypt, and Regional CEO for International Markets at Vodacom Group.

The appointments follow the transition of Ayman Essam to his new global role as Chief External Affairs Officer at Vodacom Group.

El-Saadany, who currently leads Government Relations and Public Policy, will now oversee a broad portfolio that includes regulatory affairs, public policy, government relations, external communications, sustainability, corporate security, and the Vodafone Egypt Foundation for Community Development. His expanded mandate is designed to reinforce the company’s external engagement strategy and accelerate its role in Egypt’s digital transformation.

Hamdy, currently Head of Legal Affairs, will lead departments covering contracts and legal advisory, compliance and governance, risk management, data privacy and protection, and dispute resolution. Her leadership is expected to enhance operational enablement and embed global best practices in corporate culture and governance.

These appointments underscore Vodafone Egypt’s commitment to leadership continuity and institutional capacity-building, aligning with the company’s long-term vision of creating a better future for all.
