Construction at the first phase of Midlane has reached 90%, with handover targeted for early 2027, while work on the second phase has reached 15%, ahead of its planned handover in early 2028. Meanwhile, Eastlane has been delivered ahead of schedule and is now operational, hosting a diverse mix of restaurant, retail, and lifestyle brands.
The company’s approach focuses on integrating design, construction, and property management, alongside flexible spaces intended to accommodate a wide range of commercial, professional, and medical activities.
Midlane Reaches 90% Completion Ahead of 2027 Handover
Midlane spans a 15,000-square-meter plot, with a total built-up area of 85,000 square meters. The development consists of two phases: Midlane M1 and Midlane M2.
Located along two major thoroughfares in New Cairo, the project benefits from accessibility and visibility for visitors and tenants. Its mixed-use concept brings together business, retail, restaurants, entertainment, and hospitality-style services in one destination.
Construction progress at the first phase, Midlane M1, has reached 90%, with handover scheduled for early 2027, according to the company.
The development comprises three basement levels, a ground floor, and four upper floors. Its total leasable area includes approximately 20,000 square meters dedicated to retail, entertainment, and restaurants, alongside 24,000 square meters of administrative space, including offices, medical clinics, and other business uses.
Flexible Commercial and Administrative Spaces Attract Major Brands
Midlane offers flexible spaces designed to accommodate businesses of different sizes and sectors, ranging from retail and restaurants to professional services, medical practices, and administrative offices.
The project has attracted several confirmed brand partners, including Gourmet, Regus, and IWG, reflecting its focus on combining retail and dining with office solutions and business services.
Through this model, Urbnlanes aims to create an integrated environment that brings together work and leisure, supported by operational and office services inspired by hospitality standards.
Midlane M2 Construction Reaches 15%
Construction is progressing in parallel across the project’s second phase, Midlane M2, which has reached 15% completion. Handover is targeted for early 2028.
The phase will include retail units, administrative offices, medical clinics, restaurants, and entertainment spaces, complementing the broader mixed-use offering planned for Midlane.
The construction milestones reflect the company’s stated delivery schedule for the two phases, with development work continuing alongside its handover and operational plans.
