Under the Patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly.. CAISEC Returns In Its Fifth Edition To Reshape Digital Sovereignty Strategies
The International Cybersecurity and Information Security Conference and Exhibition – CAISEC ’26 celebrates its fifth anniversary, having become a landmark event and one of the most dynamic and influential cybersecurity platforms across the Middle East and Africa.
CAISEC ’26 will be held under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly for the third consecutive year, on June 8–9, bringing together leading industry figures and decision-makers from across the region to redefine digital sovereignty strategies amid accelerating geopolitical shifts that are reshaping national security concepts worldwide, alongside the rapid and increasingly critical evolution of artificial intelligence.
The event also enjoys the special patronage of the Ministries of Finance, Health, Transport, Higher Education, and Military Production, and is organized in ongoing strategic cooperation with the League of Arab States through the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO), as well as Smart Africa and the African Network of Cybersecurity Authorities (ANCA). These collaborations provide CAISEC an unmatched Arab and African dimension, differentiating the conference and exhibition as a unique platform in the region.
Under the theme “Grounding the Future: Securing the Unpredictable ” this year’s edition of CAISEC highlights the urgent need to keep pace with regional geopolitical developments, anticipate emerging threats, adapt to rapid technological change, and strengthen resilience. This comes at a time when cyberattacks have surged at an unprecedented and alarming rate during the first months of the year, leaving no sector immune to threats from organized criminal groups or even nation-state actors seeking to exert influence.
CAISEC brings together senior government officials, heads of national cybersecurity agencies across the Arab and African regions, cybersecurity experts from leading global and regional companies, prominent entrepreneurs and startup founders in the sector, representatives of financial institutions, telecommunications companies, and technology solution providers.
The event aims to strengthen strategic partnerships, shape new visions for the future of cybersecurity, foster cross-border coordination and knowledge exchange, analyze emerging regional threat trends, and support the development of digital sovereignty through innovation, policy alignment, and investment in talent.
CAISEC ’26 also provides a strategic platform for forging international partnerships and conducting impactful dialogue that will help shape the future of cybersecurity both regionally and globally.
This will be achieved through a technology exhibition showcasing cybersecurity solutions from leading international and regional specialized companies, along with the latest AI-driven technologies designed to protect critical and digital infrastructure across key sectors including banking, energy, telecommunications, and industry.
The event will feature a comprehensive program including high-level panel discussions, influential sector-focused roundtables, keynote presentations, and specialized workshops. At the conclusion of the two-day conference, strategic recommendations will be issued and submitted to the highest decision-making levels at both national and regional levels.
Commenting on the fifth consecutive edition of CAISEC, Ossama Kamal, CEO of Mercury Communications, the organizer of the event, expressed his pride in the conference’s evolution into a central regional platform that brings together decision-makers and experts to advance cybersecurity ecosystems and strengthen digital defense strategies, while reinforcing Egypt’s position as a leading regional hub in one of the most critical areas of digital transformation.
He added:
“Since its inception five years ago, CAISEC has demonstrated a forward-looking vision of the future. Today, digital security is no longer optional; it has become a pillar of national security and state sovereignty. Our mission is to bring together strategic thinkers and leaders to construct a safe and sustainable digital future, while also establishing strong technology bridges across African and Arab countries to exchange expertise and combat cyber warfare.”
Kamal also thanked Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly for his continued patronage and support of CAISEC over the past three editions, as well as the government’s close attention to the outcomes and recommendations of previous conferences. He also hailed the attending ministers for their support and dedication to participation in the conference’s specialized sessions.
