Storm, one of the leading companies in international trade, import, and export, has announced its first participation in GITEX Dubai 2025, the largest technology event in the region and the world.
This participation comes as part of a strategic plan aimed at expanding the company’s global operations, particularly in the Maghreb markets such as Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia, as well as African markets including Sudan, Ethiopia, Nigeria, and Cameroon. The company seeks to build new partnerships that will enhance its regional and international presence.
Storm’s booth will be located at H26-05 (Hall 26 – Booth 5), where the company will showcase its range of services and business activities to visitors and partners from around the world.
Mr. Maged Moneer, Founder and CEO of Storm, stated that the company’s participation in GITEX Dubai represents a strategic step toward achieving Storm’s vision for international expansion and strengthening its position in regional and global markets. He added:
“Our journey in the world of trade, import, and export has been filled with challenges and achievements based on innovation and quality. Today, we confidently move toward a new stage of sustainable growth and expansion into the African and Maghreb markets — in line with our vision to build a strong and lasting presence in these promising regions.”
Mr. Maged noted that Storm has a diverse business portfolio that includes telecommunications, mobile phone distribution, and air-conditioning systems, in addition to its agricultural and export operations serving international markets.
He explained that Storm established, developed, and managed 50 franchise branches for Orange Egypt between 2015 and 2023 — among the most successful and distinguished branches in the Egyptian market to date. This experience, he emphasized, strengthened the company’s expertise in the telecommunications sector and in developing direct sales channels.
Storm has been engaged in the trade and distribution of mobile phones since 1999, later expanding into air-conditioning distribution, making it one of the most experienced companies in the electronics and home appliance sectors.
Mr. Maged also highlighted that since 2009, the company has been supporting food supply chains by exporting high-quality agricultural products such as potatoes, garlic, onions, and oranges to various markets, including Lebanon and Russia. The company also owns a modern greenhouse facility in Georgia dedicated to growing cucumbers and tomatoes in line with the latest sustainable agricultural standards.
In 2023, Storm strengthened its presence in the Gulf region through the Dubai Free Zone, where it manages wholesale distribution of a wide range of mobile phones from brands including HONOR, iPhone, Samsung, Oppo, Xiaomi, Realme, Infinix, and Nokia.
Mr. Maged added that the company has a reliable network of clients and partners in the markets it plans to expand into, enabling efficient and rapid market penetration once its extended operations commence.
He concluded:“At Storm, we don’t just build businesses — we create genuine partnerships that generate opportunities for growth and innovation. We believe that success doesn’t happen by chance, but through a clear vision and sustainable investment built on trust, quality, and commitment.”
