Saudi-based platform Fitting has begun implementing its plans for the next phase of growth following the closing of its second Seed funding round, valued at $1.1 million, with the participation of a strategic investor operating across the construction materials, contracting, and real estate development sectors.
The company is directing the funding toward technology development, expanding its operational capabilities, building its team, and supporting its growth in the Saudi market. At the same time, Fitting is working to introduce new services, including enhanced shipment-tracking capabilities, the integration of artificial intelligence technologies, and the launch of a smart construction materials catalogue.
Fitting currently enables users to manage requests for quotations, compare supplier offers, organise procurement and supply operations, and manage invoices and payments through a single digital workflow.
The platform focuses on addressing several operational challenges in the construction materials market, including the fragmentation of requests and information across phone calls, email, and WhatsApp, reliance on paper invoices, difficulty comparing prices, and challenges in monitoring costs and delivery schedules.
As part of its efforts to strengthen its market presence following the funding round, the company launched its “Ya Katharaha… Wa Halluha Wahid” campaign, meaning “So Many Problems… One Solution.” The campaign uses a humorous approach to present several everyday challenges faced by contractors, real estate developers, and suppliers.
The video is set inside a clinic run by “Abu Basma, the Psychologist,” who receives a series of characters representing different stakeholders across the sector. Each character presents a challenge related to quotations, bills of quantities, costs, delayed deliveries, or fragmented communication channels.
Fitting is using the campaign as the central message of a broader communication strategy designed to address the linguistic and cultural diversity within the construction and supply sector.
As part of this strategy, the company launched Fitting You through dedicated social media accounts in Arabic, English, Chinese, and Urdu. These channels publish content addressing the sector’s key issues and challenges in a way tailored to the target audiences of each language.
The company also launched Fitting Us, a channel dedicated to specialised content, dialogue sessions, and discussions concerning construction materials and supply-chain issues. The channel is intended to create a space for communication and knowledge exchange among contractors, real estate developers, suppliers, manufacturers, and importers.
On the demand side, Fitting targets real estate developers, contracting companies, and construction materials retailers and showrooms. On the supply side, the platform targets suppliers, manufacturers, and importers.
The company said its next phase will combine product development, operational expansion, team building, and stronger engagement with stakeholders across the sector, while measuring the impact of these initiatives on procurement efficiency, price transparency, and cost control.
