Amazon Web Services (AWS) is launching the AWS GenAI Loft Dubai, a pop-up collaborative space focused on AI innovation, in partnership with Dubai AI Campus and Nvidia. Scheduled for 7-11 April 2025 at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Innovation One, this event will showcase cutting-edge AI technologies and their applications.
The opening day will feature a keynote address, panel discussions, live demonstrations, and a networking reception, bringing together business leaders, investors, developers, and AI enthusiasts. This initiative aligns with the UAE’s vision for AI leadership and digital transformation.
Yasser Hassan, Director for MENA and Turkey at AWS, stated, “The AWS GenAI Loft Dubai represents our commitment to make it easy for developers of all skill levels to build and scale generative AI applications.” He emphasized the importance of collaboration with Nvidia and the Dubai AI Campus to create a hub for learning and innovation.
With AWS’s commitment of $230 million to accelerate generative AI applications for startups, this initiative is expected to catalyze further investment in the UAE’s startup ecosystem, which accounted for 44% of MENA’s funding in 2024.
The GenAI Loft will offer expert-led workshops, interactive demonstrations, and consultations with AWS AI/ML specialists, providing startups and developers with hands-on experience with AWS technologies.
