Apple has announced the launch of the new MacBook Air, now powered by the high-performance M4 chip. This latest iteration of the world’s most popular laptop includes a striking new sky blue color option, enhanced performance features, and a lower starting price of $999.
The new MacBook Air boasts impressive specifications, including up to 18 hours of battery life, a 12MP Center Stage camera, and support for up to two external displays alongside its built-in Liquid Retina display. It offers 16GB of unified memory as standard and runs on macOS Sequoia, which enhances the Mac experience with Apple Intelligence capabilities.
New Sky Blue Color
The introduction of the sky blue color adds to the existing palette of midnight, starlight, and silver. Apple has reduced the starting price by $100, now available at $999 for general consumers and $899 for educational purchases.

Apple announced that customers can pre-order the new MacBook Air now, with shipments beginning on 12 March. The 13-inch model starts at $999, while the 15-inch model is priced from $1,199, both available in sky blue, midnight, starlight, and silver.
